1) Avoid business opportunity sites that claim unrealistic income possibilities, such as: 5,000 dollars in 5 days. This is highly unlikely to happen so no matter how good the sales pitch is don’t buy it. Basic Scam formula: Big Money + Fast = SCAM.
2) Avoid opportunities or products that claim something like the following:
Automatic money making system…
Internet money making system that the gurus don’t want you to know about…
Guaranteed income fast…
3) Avoid offers that promise to bring you thousands of website visitors in a very short period of time. Once again, promising big numbers fast is unrealistic and likely a scam, especially when it comes to website traffic generation which any reputable online business product or system will tell you takes some time to really get revved up.
4) Avoid programs or products with Clickbank screenshots. They can be purchased on Fivver.com. As important, the main selling point of products that use this tactic is how much money you can make fast. Once again, the big numbers fast pitch.
5) Avoid free trials that involve submitting your credit card and having it automatically charged at the end of the trial period if you don’t cancel. This tactic is all over the internet and not just used by online business products. Even if legit you are likely to forget to cancel. Besides, free trials are just that – FREE; so if your asked for this card info in order to try a product for “free”, skip it.
The best tip is to use your common sense. There are a lot of ways people can scam you and the above are just a few so look both ways before you cross the online income street.
